Coastal Calm

I’ve wanted to offer facials by the sea for the longest time.

What could be better than a relaxing treatment combined with a stroll along the sand and lungs full of fresh ocean air?

It made perfect sense to try and find a space to work from in my native North East as I’m well aware of just how gorgeous the beaches are up there and I try and get back every couple of months to visit family already anyway. Why not combine the two I thought?

So it’s with the greatest pleasure that I can share that from June this little daydream of mine is going to become a reality!

I’ll be ‘popping up’ at Swiss Physio Tynemouth every other month, offering deeply relaxing, holistic facials from a laid back loft space, a mere 10 minute walk from the seafront.

The Coastal Calm Facial will comprise of a brief consultation followed by a double cleanse, a closer look at your skin to asses your main concerns, exfoliation and then the blissful part - lots of lovely facial massage to boost circulation, sculpt facial contours and bring back a radiant glow to the complexion.

There will be manual massage using hands and a selection of crystal massage tools ranging from rose quartz mushrooms, green aventurine gua-sha and jade rollers as well as neck, shoulder and chest massage to encourage further relaxation and boost the lymphatic system to aid detoxification.

A treatment mask will be followed with a range of products to hydrate and soothe the skin and then detailed aftercare advice will follow by email to help assist with your regimen at home.

After a decade of working impartially with multiple skin care brands at Space NK, you can be rest assured that you’re in safe hands.

Sometimes less is more. Skincare doesn’t have to be complicated but consistency is key. I’ll help you to navigate your way to an easy, daily routine that works for you.

And while you’re in the neighbourhood why not make an afternoon of it with brunch/lunch or coffee and a wander by the waves.

The Coastal Calm Facial is £75 and the appointment duration is 1 hour 30 mins.
